sungod
so this is a bit late but i thought i would write about the sungod festival about a week and a half ago. i had to work in the morning, cleaning in the nyala exhibit. there is a new baby dawh! after work, met with monica. we went to the horizon spot, drank some captain mo’ and smoked a few bowls while she played florence + the machine on her ukulele. afterwards, walked over to i-house. it was a shit show, people drinking and dancing on the main walkway. we finally found her friends apartment after a few attempts. met some cool kids, finished our bottle and accidentally angered a guy wearing a squid hat. he was pretty grumpy about me drinking out of his soda bottle. definitely squidward-esque. we were on our way to the festival when we ran into margot! yaaaaay. diverted to her apartment, we continued to drink and eat alcoholic gummybears. we lost her on our way into the concert, but then we met up with glitters and matt and mark. its a bit fuzzzzy after that, but we danced about for awhile. i saw my old rome roommate alexa! took some supah cute pictures. dipped into some molly come sunset and it was pretty good. the dance tent was bumping. rescued a drugged girl and gave her water. ate pizza and saw a bit of the silversun pickups. watched a circus act. ended the night back at abbies, smoking and speaking in that quiet-thizzed-all-important voice. worked the next day but actually was not too tired.
life has been good lately - i feel like ive been wading through the current and enjoying the tide. tomorrow is rusko!
